The Attorney General’s Office of the National Treasury (PGFN) has published Notice 4/2025 to enter into transactions during the II National Tax Regularization Week, with the aim of providing beneficial conditions for the regularization of debts registered in the Union’s active debt of an amount equal to or less than R$ 45 million.
The notice will be available from 17/03 to 21/03, and applications must be made exclusively through the REGULARIZE website.
It is important to note that debts that already have ongoing legal proceedings or have been the subject of previous installment payments that have been canceled, or are temporarily suspended, may be included. In addition, the transaction must cover all eligible registrations, with partial adherence being prohibited and the combination of one or more available modalities being allowed.
The notice offers a series of special conditions, including the possibility of discounts that can significantly reduce the total amount of the debt, up to 65% of interest, fines and legal charges.
As for the installment payment method, the notice provides for a down payment of six percent of the consolidated amount of the debt, paid in up to six consecutive monthly installments, with the remaining balance payable in up to 114 consecutive monthly installments. In addition, the notice provides for special transaction conditions to meet the needs of each taxpayer profile.
As for the cases that can result in the transaction being rescinded, default must be noted, characterized by non-payment in full of the installments for three consecutive or alternate months. It should be noted that the termination of the transaction prevents the taxpayer from formalizing a new transaction, even if it relates to different registrations, for a period of two years from the date of termination.
